Choose sew-on for stitched attachment, iron-on for heat-applied attachment, hook and loop for removable patches, an adhesive for stick-on use, or a pin for badge-style wear. Our paper and plastic backing options provide reinforcement; confirm garment attachment separately.

- Apparel and uniforms: review sew-on or iron-on against the fabric and care instructions. Use hook and loop when patches need to be exchanged.
- Gear and bags: confirm whether the patch will be fixed or removable, and how the receiving side will be attached.
- Events and temporary placement: review pin or adhesive attachment against the garment or surface and removal needs.
- Patch reinforcement: discuss paper or plastic backing when the patch needs added support, then confirm attachment separately.

For embroidered and PVC patches, current general terms are MOQ 100 pcs per design, a US$30 sample fee credited toward the bulk order, samples in 3–7 days, and bulk production typically in 7–15 days after artwork and order details are confirmed.

Our paper and plastic backing options are used for reinforcement. Confirm the garment attachment method separately when requesting a quote.
What should I specify for hook-and-loop patches?
State whether you need the hook side only or a matching hook-and-loop set. Include the patch size, receiving garment or surface, and how the receiving side will be attached.
Is 3M backing a single adhesive specification?
No. 3M is a brand rather than a single adhesive specification. Confirm the tape grade, receiving surface and use conditions in the quotation, then check a sample on the intended surface.
How should I choose a backing for washable clothing?
Share the fabric composition, intended attachment method and washing instructions. Review a sample on the actual garment before confirming bulk production.
